Public works Deptt

                     This department plays a pivotal role in overall development of the municipal area.

The following functions are mainly performed by this department:-

                   • Preparation of plan estimate and feasibility report for a development work.

                  • Preparation of drawings.

                  • Sanction of site plan and building plan.

                  • New construction of buildings, roads, drains, culverts, water tanks etc.

                  • Extension and repairing of buildings, roads, drains, culverts, water tanks etc.

                  • Preparation of Measurement Book and works register for every development works undertaken by the ULB.
